M. VEHBI BİLGİN

M. Vehbi BİLGİN started İstanbul Technical University Civil Engineering Faculty in 1965. He was awarded a scholarship by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). He graduated as a Civil Engineer, M.Sc. in 1970.

He started his professional life and worked as a civil engineer in some state entities between 1970 and 1976. He decided to work in private sector and started working as site manager and project manager between 1976 and 1979. Then he started his own business focusing on infrastructure and industrial buildings between 1979 and 1994.

He focused on energy business and started developing renewable energy projects, making the investments and finally realizing self-developed projects.

He embodied all the energy projects under “Bilgin Energy Investment Holding” and is currently the chairman of the board.

He is still working on new energy projects. M. Vehbi BİLGİN is married and has two sons who are in the top management of the company.
